Background

I’m Paul Buczkowski, a product engineer and front-end developer with over a decade of experience building digital products from concept to deployment. I started in graphic design (B.F.A., Montclair State University) and spent years at companies like RollWorks, PNY Technologies, Getty Images, and the NBA before moving into full-stack product development.

Today I build end-to-end — React and TypeScript on the frontend, Python/Flask and Node.js on the backend, PostgreSQL for data, and Swift for native iOS. My recent projects include GamerStats.gg, a full-stack gaming stats platform with AI-powered insights and Stripe payments, and IsoRide, a cycling weather safety app with a native iOS app currently on TestFlight.

What sets me apart is the design background. I don’t just write code — I think about how interfaces feel, how information is structured, and how users move through a product. That combination of engineering and design sensibility is what I bring to everything I build.
